Every summer, the Family Science Association proudly hosts the Teaching Family Science (TFS) conference, the only event dedicated exclusively to the profession of teaching family science. This intentionally smaller conference offers a unique opportunity for attendees to connect, engage in meaningful discussions, and collaborate. Participants will take part in hands-on workshops, thought-provoking panels, and presentations that explore the latest trends and best practices in family science education. With a focus on sharing experiences, the TFS conference serves as an invaluable space for professionals to exchange ideas and enhance their teaching methods.
One of the highlights of the Teaching Family Science conference is our commitment to fostering a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Our conference chairs carefully select unique locations that offer exciting options for activities. In the past, participants have enjoyed an indoor water park, learned to play ukuleles, and sampled amazing street food. We hope you will leave our conference not only with practical activities and research to implement in your family science classroom but also with great stories about your adventures and a desire to return for next year’s conference!
Join us to celebrate our shared commitment to advancing family science and shaping the next generation of learners in this vital field.
